These beautiful wild-caught Australian King Prawns are the king of prawns.
Originating from the Spencer Gulf inlet of South Australia & Western Australia's Shark Bay, the King Prawn is easily identified by its pink/apricot body & blue legs & tail.
These prawns have a rich flavour, low-to-medium oiliness and moist flesh with a medium-firm texture. Flesh is translucent when raw and white with pinkish bands when cooked. With a beautiful sweet & slightly salty flavour, these prawns are hard to go past.
Sold green (uncooked) frozen.
