Local Victorian Blue Mussels. Grown and harvested in Port Arlington and Mount Martha, Vic.
Once cooked, Blue Mussels have an orange (if female) or white (if male) appearance and are versatile in their cooking options. They have a rich, strong flavour, with high oiliness and moist, juicy, medium-textured flesh.
